What is Mini-Facelift? A min-facelift, or minilift, targets a specific part of your face for tightening, usually the outer cheek, mid face, neck, or just the area under your chin.
How long is the recovery?
While this depends on the type of minilift performed, you should plan on taking 10 days off from work.
Can I have my minilift with just local anesthesia?
Minilifts done with only straight local anesthesia are generally limited procedures that usually involve just tightening sutures placed in the deep tissues (the SMAS) in front of the ear- a form of a cheek lift. To accomplish a more long lasting result, the surgery must be more extensive. This and other types of minilifts are more comfortable under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.
