Before - Sometimes as you age the skin over the muscle of the upper lip becomes depressed and thins. As with this 53 year old woman, we can often fill this depression with Radiesse®. This will also soften the appearance of upper lip lines by adding volume to the lip.

We currently prefer hyaluronic acid fillers for lip augmentation becuase of the very natural look, ease of treatment and minimal down time. This is a patient treated with Juvéderm Ultra™. Look at the excellent longevity at 9 months after the injection. Also look at the smooth, very natural look. We can also use Perlane and Restylane for this purpose. Which product we choose for you will depend on your age, the size and shape of your lips and the desired longevity.
